by Nikolai Porfiryevich Grekov (1810 - 1866)

V tu noč', kogda proščalis' my
Language: Russian (Русский)
V tu noč', kogda proščalis' my,
Kipelo i stonalo more,
Ves' mir byl polon groznoj t'my,
I s strašno bylo naše gore.

I ni edinaja zvezda
Iz burnych tuč nam ne svetila,
Kogda ona, prižav usta
K moim, mne govorila:

«Pust' ėtich žgučich slez ruč'i
Tebe sbegajut na lanity,
Pust' žarkie usta moi
S tvoimi dolgo budut slity!

Puskaj, chotja v poslednij raz,
My tol'ko zrimye prirodoj,
Vdali ot zorkich vraž'ich glaz
Up'emsja sčast'em i svobodoj.»

I dolgo slez ruč'i tekli
I žgli s lobzan'jami, kak plamen',
Vsju dušu mne oni sožgli
I obratili serdce v kamen'.

S tech por ja žizn' ne beregu,
Pred groznym rokom ne robeju.
S tech por ja plakat' ne mogu
I ulybat'sja ne umeju.
