by Bohdan Sylvestrovych Lepky (1872 - 1941)

V lisi
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
Jak pryjde večirna hodyna
I sumerky stanut' v vikni,
Jakas' pozabuta kartyna
V tu chvylju javljalas' meni...

Maljunok nezručnyj, nevpravnyj,
Z litamy zsiriv, polynjav,
Zdajet'sja ne duže to slavnyj
Toj obraz maljar maljuvav.

Na obrazi tomu liščyna
Denede stoït' staryj dub;
Vuzen'ka zarosla stežyna
Bižyt' miž korči čerez zrub...

Osinni vitry pozdyraly ziv’jali,
Požovkli lystky,
Ostanni kvitky povsychaly
Zhubylys' ostanni slidy...

Čoho v tim lisi šukaje divčyna,
Jak osin' sumna?...
Za chmaramy sonce sidaje,
Dovkola spokij, tyšyna.
