Udosvita vstav ya
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
Udosvita vstav ya, temno shhe nadvori;
De-ne-de po xatax yasne svitlo syaye;
Syaye yasne svitlo, yak na nebi zori…
Dy`vuyus`, radiyu, u sercya py`tayu:
“Skazhy`, vishhe serce, chy` skoro svit bude?”
         “Oj skoro svit bude,
         Proky`nut`sya lyude,
         U vsyake vikonce
         Zasiyaye sonce!”

         Oj udaryu zh zrazu
         U struny` zhy`viyi:
         “Proky`n`tes`, vstavajte,
         Stariyi j maliyi!”

         Vishhuvannyam novy`m
         Serce moye b’yet`sya,
         Cherez kraj iz sercya
         Ridne slovo llyet`sya.
