Rubiny
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
           Odkryvajut'sja rany —
Davni rany, nud'hoju roz’jatreni znov…
I červonu, harjaču mov polum’ja, krov
     Vže ne strymuje zillja omany.
           Odkryvajut'sja rany…

           Rany, sercja rubiny!
Vy — jedynyj toj dar, vy — toj skarb žebraka,
Ščo dala jomu z lasky kochana ruka
     Na rozstanni, v ostanni chvylyny…
           Rany, sercja rubiny!..

            O, rubiny červoni!
A chto ž vam dav bahrovist' i polysk ohnja?
Moja hordist', obražena hordist' moja,
Ščo trymala mij hniv na pryponi.
            O, rubiny červoni!..
