Im Garten rauscht die Sommernacht, durchs Fenster drängt es schwer, mit weiten Augen lausch' ich still, und alles schweigt umher. Und alles schläft, ein Sehnen nur weht heimlich ein und aus, da fängt mein Herz zu weinen an und wollt es wär zu Haus.
