Eine blaue Schurze
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE
Eine blaue Schurze
hast du mir gegeben,
Mutter, schad' ums Färben,
Mutter, schad' ums Weben!
Morgen in der Frühe
wird sie bleich erscheinen,
will zu Nacht so lange
Tränen auf sie weinen.

Und wenn meine Tränen
es nicht schaffen können,
wie sie immer strömen,
wie sie immer brennen,
wird mein Liebster kommen
und mir Wasser bringen,
wird sich Meereswasser
aus den Locken ringen.

Denn er liegt da unten
in des Meeres Grunde,
und wenn ihm die Wogen
rauschen diese Kunde,
dass ich hier soll freien
und ihm treulos werden,
aus der Tiefe steigt er
auf zur bösen Erden.

In die Kirche soll ich --
nun, ich will ja kommen,
will mich fromm gesellen
zu den andern Frommen.
Lasst mich am Altare
still vorüberziehen;
denn dort ist mein Plätzchen,
wo die Witwen knien.

El davantal blau
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
El davantal blau
que tu m’has donat,
mare, llàstima per el seu color,
mare, llàstima per la seva tela!
Demà al matí
s’hauran descolorit,
car durant tota la nit
hi vessaré llàgrimes.

I si les meves llàgrimes
no ho poden aconseguir,
a força de vessar-hi,
a força de cremar-lo,
llavors vindrà el meu estimat
a portar-me aigua,
s’espremerà aigua del mar
dels seus rínxols.

Car ell jau allà baix
al fons del mar,
i quan les onades
li mormolaran la notícia
de què m’haig de casar aquí
i ser-li infidel,
pujarà de les profunditats
a aquesta malvada terra.

Haig d’anar a l’església,
sí, ara hi aniré,
pietosament m’ajuntaré
a d’altres devots.
Deixeu-me passar en silenci
davant de l’altar;
car el meu lloc és allà
on les vídues s’agenollen.
