Bei meines Buhlen Haupte

Bei meines Buhlen Haupte,
da steht ein gold'ner Schrein,
darin, da liegt verschlossen
das junge Herze mein.

Wollt' Gott, ich hätt' den Schlüssel,
ich würf' ihn in den Rhein!
Wär' ich bei meiner Buhlen,
wie möcht' mir bass gefreu'n!

Bei meines Buhlen Füßen,
da fleußt ein Brünnlein kalt,
und wer das Brünnlein trinket,
der jungt und wird nicht alt.

Ich hab' des Brünnleins trunken
so manchen stolzen Trunk!
Viel lieber wollt' ich küssen
mein's Buhlen roten Mund!

Und wer uns diesen Reihensang
so wohl gesungen hat,
das waren zwei Hauer
zu Freiberg in der Stadt.

Sie haben so wohl gesungen
bei Met und kühlem Wein;
dabei, da ist gesessen
der Wirtin Töchterlein!
