Llingt der Vöglein letztes Lied,
Das am Tag bald voll, bald zart
In die Welt geklungen hat.

Schlaf wohl, wiege dich in Träume ein,
In Träume weiß und rein
Und träum' von fernem Glück
Bis in weichem Schlag
Dich rufet ins Leben zurück
Der strahlend erwachte Tag.

brillen vermelles, brillen verdes les estrelles
que totes les nits centellegen damunt els núvols
i tot resplendint a la infinita llunyania,
tracen llurs cercles daurats.

Dorm bé, dorm bé, al teu damunt
sona el darrer cant de l’ocellet
que durant el dia, adés amb força, adés suau,
ha sonat en el món.

Dorm bé, dorm bressolat en somnis,
en somnis blancs i purs
i somia en una llunyana benaurança
fins que amb un suau copet
et cridarà de nou a la vida
el dia que radiant es desperta.
