Sieh, wie wir zu den Sternen aufsteigen! Unsern glückstrahlenden Augen leuchtet der Schnee der Gebirge, bald blitzt dort unten die Sonne durch. O! schon röten sich Tiefen und Höhen; durch den Rauch unsrer Atemzüge, bis über das fernste Fünkchen dort oben fern hinauf schimmert die Nacht deiner Geburt, glänzt der Tag unsrer Himmelfahrt.
