Schlaf ein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT
Leise tritt der Mond heraus,
schlafe, Kindchen, schlafe,
er geht wohl über Nachbars Haus,
schlafe, Kindchen, schlafe.
Das Vöglein, das noch singt im Strauch,
steckt's Köpfchen ein und schläft nun auch.

Schließe beide Äuglein zu,
schlafe, Kindchen, schlafe,
sonst find't der arme Mond kein Ruh,
schlafe, Kindchen, schlafe,
muß immer auf dem Dache stehn
und nach dein'm weißen Bettchen sehn,

schlafe, Kindchen, schlafe,
schlaf, Kindchen, schlafe.
