by Richard Fedor Leopold Dehmel (1863 - 1920)

Puhstemuhme
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die eine
 Krause, krause Muhme,
 alte Butterblume,
 Puhsterchen, nanu?

Die andre
Wo hast du denn dein Hütchen,
 dein gelbes Federnschütchen?
 worauf wartest du?

Die Puhstemuhme erwidert
 Warte aufs Kindchen,
 auf ein lieb Mündchen,
 ich alte griese
 Trauerliese,
 puh, puh, puh.
 Ach bitte, puhst mich doch
rasch in den Himmel hoch --
 tausend kleine Nackedeys
 spielen da im Gras,
 tausend kleine Nackedeys
 lachen sich da was!
