1. Dem Sangmeister, ein Psalm Davids. 2. Ach, Herr! wie lange willst du mein so ganz vergessen? Wie lange noch dein Antlitz mir verbergen? 3. Wie lange muß ich meinen Geist mit Sinnen, Mein Herz mit Sorgen täglich quälen? Wie lange noch mein Feind obsiegen? * * * 4. Schau herab! erhöre mich! Ach Ewiger! mein Gott! Erleuchte meine Augen wieder, Daß ich des Todes nicht entschlafe. 5. Sonst spricht mein Feind: "den überwand ich!" Frohlocken Widersacher meines Falles. * * * 6. Doch ich vertraue deiner Güte, Mein Herz frohlockt, ob deiner Hülfe, Dem Ewigen singe ich; denn er that mir wohl.
