Language: German (Deutsch)  after the French (Français)
Our translations:  ENG
Dein Auge beut mir himmlisch-süsse Not,

Nothing blazes in my heart like this
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
Nothing blazes in my heart like this,
Nothing on this earth.
Nothing else that I desired as I did you,
Even if Venus herself made me an offer.
Your eye promises me heavenly sweet pain,
And if one blink multiplied my ordeal,
The next would grant me blissful delight, -
Two blinks can make all the difference, life or death.

And if I bore it seven times five thousand years,
Nobody but you, you marvelous [creature],
No other being would get me into its power.
Through new veins I would have to let my blood stream,
In mine, overflowing with you,
A new love would find neither room nor a foothold/future.
