über Stadt und Gau?

Ist's auf walddurchtobendem Huf
des Wildbachs laut aufjauchzender Ruf?
Ist's der Sonntag, von allen Seiten zumal
aufläutend vom feiernden Tal?

Zurück! 
Auf schönern Füßen tanzt zum Glück!
Weil die Wahrheit mir gellt, 
daß Herz in der Welt.

Weil des Weibes demütig Himmelreich
ist an Wundern so reich.
Weil Liebe, wider Erwarten,
kommt geblüht aus dem fernsten Garten!
