Trarah, trarah! Wir kehren daheim
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations: CAT DUT ENG FRE
Trarah, trarah! Wir kehren daheim, -
Wir bringen die Beute der Jagd! -
Es sinket die Nacht,
Drum halten wir Wacht;
Das Licht hat über das Dunkel Macht!
Trarah, trarah! Auf, auf!
Das Feuer angefacht!
Trarah, trarah! Wir zechen im Kreis;
Wir spotten des Dunkels, der Nacht!
Des Menschen Macht,
In freudiger Pracht,
Die Qual [verhöhnet]1, des Todes lacht! -
Trarah, trarah! Auf, auf!
Die Glut ist angefacht!

Cançó de cacera
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Tararí, tararí! Tornem a casa,
portem el botí de la cacera!
Cau la nit,
i per això estem alerta;
la llum té poder sobre la foscúria!
Tararí, tararí! Vinga, vinga!
El foc està encès!
Tararí, tararí! Remullem la gola en cercle;
ens burlem de la foscor, de la nit!
El poder de l’home,
en joiosa esplendor,
fa escarni del dolor, se’n riu de la mort!
Tararí, tararí! Vinga, vinga!
El foc està encès!
