di darmi ad altra cura,

آه، افسون گم گشتهی محبوب نازنینم!
او که از دیدگانم دور است،
او که مرا مایهی فخر و سرفرازی بود!
اکنون از میان اتاقهای خاموش
پیوسته او را میجویم و میخوانم،
با قلبی آکنده از امید،
اما جستجوی من بی فایده است، فریادهایم بی حاصل!
و این اشکها چقدر برایم عزیز هستند،
که تنها با اشک، دل خویش را میپرورم.
در نظرم بی او، همه جا اندوهبار است.
روز در نظرم همچون شب مینماید
و آتش چون یخ.
با این حال، اگر گاهی امیدی میبندم
تا خود را به علاج دیگری بسپارم،
تنها یک فکر مرا رنج میدهد
اما، بی او چه خواهم کرد؟
اینگونه در نظرم زندگی چیزی پوچ و بیهوده است،
بدون محبوبم.
