O jubelvolle, Frühlingslust
Language: German (Deutsch)
O jubelvolle, Frühlingslust,
Wie öffnest du uns Herz und Brust
So weit, so weit!
Hinfort, was uns erkältend faßt,
Es kommt der Lenz, der heitre Gast,
Und scheucht das Leid!
Und du blickst lächelnd ins Herz hinein,
O Sonnenschein, goldener Sonnenschein!

Die Knospen schwellen grün am Baum,
Das Veilchen nickt im duft'gen Traum,
Es glüht und blüht;
Die Welle hüpft und schlüpft im See,
An blauen Himmels tiefster Höh'
Weiß Wölkchen zieht,
Und du blickst lächelnd ins Herz hinein,
O Sonnenschein, goldener Sonnenschein!

Die Lerche schwirrt in klarer Luft,
Es schwärmt das Reh im Waldesduft,
Das singt und springt!
Im Herzen tief der Liebe Blick, --
O trunknes Glüh'n! O träumrisch Glück!
Das ringt und zwingt!
Und du blickt lächelnd ins Herz hinein,
O Sonnenschein, goldener Sonnenschein!
