Spit kovyl'. Ravnina dorogaja
Language: Russian (Русский)
Spit kovyl'. Ravnina dorogaja,
I svincovoj svežesti polyn'.
Nikakaja rodina drugaja
Ne vol'et mne v grud' moju teplyn'.

Znat', u vsech u nas takaja učast'.
I, požaluj, vsjakogo sprosi —
Radujas', svirepstvuja i mučas',
Chorošo živetsja na Rusi.

Svet luny tainstvennyj i dlinnyj,
Plačut verby, šepčut topolja.
No nikto pod okrik žuravlinyj
Ne razljubit otčie polja.

I teper', kogda vot novym svetom
I moej kosnulas' žizn' sud'by,
Vsë ravno ostalsja ja poėtom
Zolotoj brevënčatoj izby.

Po nočam, prižavšis' k izgolov'ju,
Vižu ja, kak sil'nogo vraga,
Kak čužaja junost' bryzžet nov'ju
Na moi poljany i luga.

No i vse že, nov'ju toj tesnimyj,
JA mogu pročuvstvenno propet':
Dajte mne na rodine ljubimoj,
Vsë ljubja, spokojno umeret'!
