Muß es eine Trennung geben
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA LIT TUR
Muß es eine Trennung geben,
Die das treue Herz zerbricht?
Nein, dies nenne ich nicht leben,
Sterben ist so bitter nicht.

Hör' ich eines Schäfers Flöte,
Härme ich mich inniglich,
Seh' ich in die Abendröte,
Denk' ich brünstiglich an dich.

Gibt es denn kein wahres Lieben?
Muß denn Schmerz und [Trauer]1 sein?
Wär' ich ungeliebt geblieben,
Hätt' ich doch noch Hoffnungsschein.

Aber so muß ich nun klagen:
Wo ist Hoffnung, als das Grab?
Fern muß ich mein Elend tragen,
Heimlich bricht das Herz mir ab.

Hi pot haver una separació
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Hi pot haver una separació
que parteixi un cor fidel?
No, això no es pot anomenar vida,
morir no és pas tan amarg.

Quan sento la flauta d’un pastor,
pateixo interiorment,
quan veig la vermellor del capvespre,
penso ferventment en tu.

No existeix doncs un amor autèntic?
Hi ha d’haver pena i tristor?
Si almenys no hagués estat estimat,
tindria encara un besllum d’esperança.

Però adés m’haig de plànyer:
on es troba l’esperança sinó a la tomba?
Portaré lluny amb mi la dissort,
secretament se’m parteix el cor.
