by Aleksey Vasil'yevich Kol'tsov (1808 - 1842)

Kak zhenilsya ya, raskayalsya;
Language: Russian (Русский)
Kak zhenilsya ya, raskayalsya;
Da uzh pozdno, delat` nechego:
Obvenchavshis` — ne razzhenish`sya;
Nakazal Gospod`, tak muchajsya.

Xot` by' vzyal eyo ya siloyu,
Il` obmanut by'l zloj xitrost`yu;
A to volej svoej dobroyu,
Gde zadumal, tam sosvatalsya.

By'lo krome mnogo devushek,
I xoroshix i talantlivy'x;
Da ni s chem vzyat` — vidish`, sovestno
Ot svoej rodni, tovarishhej.

Vot i vy'bral po ix razumu,
Po oby'chayu — kak voditsya:
I s rodnyoyu, i s porodoyu,
Imenituyu — pochyotnuyu.

I zhivyom s nej — tol`ko ssorimsya,
Da rodnyoyu poxvalyaemsya;
Da prozhivshi vsyo dobro svoyo,
V dolgi stali neoplatny'e…

«Teper` pridet vremya tesnoe:
Chto nam delat`, zhena, nadobno?» —
«Kak, skazhite, lyudi dobry'e,
Nauchu ya muzha glupova?» —

«Ax, zhena moya, boyary'nya!
Kogda umnoj ty' rodilasya,
Tak zachem zhe moyu golovu
Ty' sgubila zmeya lyutaya?

Pridyot vremya, vremya groznoe,
Kto pomozhet? kuda denemsya?» —
«Sam prozhilsya moj bezumnoj muzh,
Da u baby' uma trebuet».
