by Aleksey Vasil'yevich Kol'tsov (1808 - 1842)

Kak zhenilsja ja, raskajalsja;
Language: Russian (Русский)
Kak zhenilsja ja, raskajalsja;
Da uzh pozdno, delat' nechego:
Obvenchavshis' — ne razzhenish'sja;
Nakazal Gospod', tak muchajsja.

Khot' by vzjal jejo ja siloju,
Il' obmanut byl zloj khitrost'ju;
A to volej svojej dobroju,
Gde zadumal, tam sosvatalsja.

Bylo krome mnogo devushek,
I khoroshikh i talantlivykh;
Da ni s chem vzjat' — vidish', sovestno
Ot svojej rodni, tovarishchej.

Vot i vybral po ikh razumu,
Po obychaju — kak voditsja:
I s rodnjoju, i s porodoju,
Imenituju — pochjotnuju.

I zhivjom s nej — tol'ko ssorimsja,
Da rodnjoju pokhvaljajemsja;
Da prozhivshi vsjo dobro svojo,
V dolgi stali neoplatnye…

«Teper' pridet vremja tesnoje:
Chto nam delat', zhena, nadobno?» —
«Kak, skazhite, ljudi dobrye,
Nauchu ja muzha glupova?» —

«Akh, zhena moja, bojarynja!
Kogda umnoj ty rodilasja,
Tak zachem zhe moju golovu
Ty sgubila zmeja ljutaja?

Pridjot vremja, vremja groznoje,
Kto pomozhet? kuda denemsja?» —
«Sam prozhilsja moj bezumnoj muzh,
Da u baby uma trebujet».
