by Johann Georg Fischer (1816 - 1897)

Der Segen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Thüren auf! und lasst herein
Der Lüfte süss Gewimmel,
Herein den warmen Sonnenschein,
Herein den ganzen Himmel.

Vom Berge ist durch Feld und Wald
Der hohe Ruf erklungen,
Und zauberkräftig kam ihm bald
Der Frühling nachgesprungen.

Er sang die öden Fluren an:
Wie schwellen schon die Saaten,
Er rief durch Wald und Wiesenplan
Und alles will gerathen.

Doch mit den besten Gaben
Ist meinem Lieb begegnet
Und hat es an die Stirn geküsst
Und hat es still gesegnet.

Schon reden aller Orten laut
Die Lieder und die Winde
Von dir du holde junge Braut,
Vom wonnigen Maienkinde.
