The graceful swaying wattle
Language: English
Available translation(s): DUT
The bush was grey a week today
Olive green and brown and grey,
But now the Spring has come this way
With blossoms for the wattle,
It seems to be a fairy tree
It dances to a melody,
and sings a little song to me,
the graceful swaying wattle.

De elegant wiegende twijg
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the English
Vorige week was de boom nog grauw
Olijfgroen en bruin en grijs
Maar nu de lente hier al is
Komt er bloesem aan de twijg,
Het lijkt wel een toverboom,
Die danst op 'n mooie melodie.
Alleen voor mij zingt hij een lied;
De elegant wiegende twijg.
