Vagammo per la foresta di pini che cinge la spuma del mare; vento più lieve era nel nido, nella sua casa era chiusa la bufera. Le onde bisbiglianti eran sopite, erano andate le nuvole a giocare, e pesava sul seno del profondo il sorriso del Cielo: pareva quell'ora inviata da lungi, oltre i cieli e spandeva al di sopra del sole una luce di Paradiso.
