by Emanuel von Geibel (1815 - 1884)

Es stand ein Veilchenstrauß an meinem...
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es stand ein Veilchenstrauß an meinem Bette,
Der duftete mir zu gar süßen Traum:
Ich lag am Abhang einer Hügelkette,
Und überblüht von Veilchen war der Raum:
So viele wuchsen nie an einer Stätte,
Man sah vor ihrem Blau den Rasen kaum;
Da sprach das Herz: Hier ging mein Lieb, das traute,
Und Veilchen sproßten auf, wohin sie schaute.
