fürcht nicht Kugel noch Streit,
und der Feind, wenn er naht,
find't ihn allzeit bereit.

Mit dem Säbel in der Hand,
auf der Schulter das Gewehr,
durch das ganze weite Land
zieht stolz er einher.

Schlag' die Trommel, Kamerad,
Trompeten blast an!
So ein rechter Soldat
ist ein tapferer Mann.

no té por de bales ni combats,
i quan s’apropa l’enemic
el troba sempre disposat.

Amb el sabre a la mà
i el fusell a l’espatlla,
a través de tot l’ampli país
ell marxa orgullós.

Camarada, toca el timbal,
trompetes, soneu!
Un soldat digne d’aquest nom
és un home coratjós.
