by Holger Henrik Herholdt Drachmann (1846 - 1908)

Vinden er saa føjelig
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Our translations:  FRE
Vinden er saa føjelig
Og Baaden er klar,
Verden saa fornøjelig,
Naar blot man ret den ta'r;
Blot Du ej ta'r Briller paa,
Og særlig ej de mørkegraa,
Men ser med Solens Øjne,
Saa smiler Søen himmelblaa,
Og Du kan næsten ej forstaa,
At Klitterne kan være saa nøgne.

Søen gør saa sære Sving,
Er sorgløs og kaad,
Den slaar i Stykker mange Ting,
Men dertil har den Raad.
Søen er en Jungmand kæk,
Han hiver al sin Hyre væk,
Han har ej lært at spare;
Hans Liv er op og ned i Træk,
Hvorfor da stuve under Dæk,
Hvad der dog ej evindelig kan vare?

Hop da sorgløs, gode Baad,
Ad Søvejen hen;
Bliver Næsen ogsaa vaad,
Den tørres nok igen.
Bølgen krummer nu sin Krop
Og løfter paa sin Skulder op
Den Sol, som laa begravet.
Vi sætter Stagen i sin Strop
Og hejser Sejlet højt i Top,
Og løber saa -- Godmorgen! -- ud paa Havet.
