Das versunkene Kloster
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT FRE
Ein Kloster ist versunken
Tief in den wilden See,
Die Nonnen sind ertrunken
Zusamt dem Pater, weh!
Der Nixen muntre Scharen,
Sie schwimmen stracks herbei,
Nun einmal zu erfahren,
Was in den Mauern sei.

Das plätschert und das rauschet
In Kreuzgang und Dorment!
Am Lokutorium lauschet
Der schäkernde Konvent;
Man hört Gesang im Chore
Und lustig Orgelspiel;
Das Glöcklein ruft zur Hore,
Wann's ihnen just gefiel.

Bei heitrem Vollmondglanze
Lockt sie der grüne Strand
Zu einem Ringeltanze
In geistlichem Gewand;
Die weißen Schleier flattern,
Die schwarzen Stolen wehn,
Die Kerzenflämmchen knattern,
Wie sie im Sprung sich drehn.

Der Kobold dort im Schutte
Der hohlen Felsenwand,
Er nimmt des Paters Kutte,
Die er am Ufer fand;
Die Tänzerinnen schreckend,
Kommt er zur Mummerei,
Sie aber tauchen neckend
Hinab in die Abtei.

El convent enfonsat
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Add this translation to your Reprint Basket
Un convent s'ha enfonsat
profundament en el llac salvatge,
les monges s'han ofegat
juntament amb el sacerdot, ai las!
Alegres estols de sirenes,
neden de seguida cap allà,
per esbrinar,
què hi ha dins els murs.

Hom xipolleja i remoreja
al claustre i al dormitori!
Al locutori, la congregació,
bromejant, escolta;
s'hi sent cantar el cor
i alegre música d'orgue;
la campana petita crida a les hores,
just quan els hi ve de gust.

En el clar resplendor de la lluna plena,
la riba verdejant les convida
a una dansa en rotllana
en vestidura eclesiàstica;
els vels blancs onegen,
les estoles negres s'agiten,
les flames dels ciris crepiten,
mentre elles giren saltant.

El follet, allà, a l'abric
de la roca foradada,
agafa la cogulla del sacerdot,
que ha trobat a la riba;
espantant les ballarines,
s'uneix a la moixiganga,
però elles, plaguejant,
s'endinsen dins l'abadia.
