Quan dos s’han trobat en l’amor, la joia es mou a través de la natura, i en llargues hores plenes de goig, el dia s’estén damunt boscos i camps. Àdhuc del tronc corcat del roure que ha sobreviscut un mil•lenari, puja de nou del brancam la verda flama i remoreja de goig i jovenesa sacsejat. Amb més gran esplendor i flaire s’obren les poncelles davant la felicitat de la parella, i més suaus mormolen els rierols, i més abundós floreix i brilla el mes de maig.
