by Ernst Frederik Wilhelm von der Recke (1848 - 1933)

Mig tykkes, du stod ved mit Leie
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Mig tykkes, du stod ved mit Leie,
Og din Kind var min Læbe nær,
Og jeg følte over mit Ansigt
Dens lysende Purpurskjær.

Og jeg mærked, over min Pande
Din Aande strøg som et Pust,
Og jeg hørte din bløde Stemme
Og lyttede til berust.

Da foer jeg med eet overende,
Og Drømmen svandt som et Lyn,
Da var det kun Morgenrøden,
hvis Glands havde blændet mit Syn,

kun en Duft Af Jasminer og Roser,
Der bølged ad Vinduet ind,
en Duft av Jasminer og Roser,
Kun en Drossel, der slog sin Trille
Paa en Gren, i den blomstrende Lind.
