Sie nahm's und lachte.
Ich wußte nicht, wie die Kinder sind,
Ich freute mich und dachte:
"Nun legt sie's zärtlich in den Schrein

Sie aber warf's in den Tag hinein.
Der Stundenwagen fuhr polternd drein:
Da ward es überfahren.
