Fedralandssong aat Ungdomen
Language: Norwegian (Nynorsk)
Heilag, heilag er fedres jord!
Me traar med vort blod i brand.
Heimatt til far og heimatt til mor
og heimatt til fedreland.
Her av den gamle, heimlige grunnen
federnes heilhuga manndom er runnen.
Her vert han funnen
dugen, som evlar det federne vann!

Nok og lenge vaar heimhug seig
og vingla og veikna av,
lell vaart Norig med velde steig
so bjart er det vreide hav,
tindarne blenkte, bredarne braga,
fossarne dura og skogarne svaga;
nordröna saga
kvad os i öyro dei daadstore krav.

Vænt er Norig um fjell og fjord
og fangar vaar heite traa.
Odlar, adlar me denne jord
fraa Kölen til baara blaa.
Leidi er klaar, og hugmaali vaara,
stemmer som solfyllte segl yver baara,
smilet og taara
glitrer som dogg yver bryddande straa.

Heimatt til far og heimatt til mor,
og heimatt til fedreland.
Heimatt til maalets malm og ord,
som hyser vaar fedra-and'.
Her hev me gror aat evna og dugen
solrennings song gjennom modet og hugen,
Ungdommen trugen vaknar og sprjenger
dei framande band.
