I serdce, žit' ustav, stremitsja chotja b v zemle najti pokoj. Starucha, gde tvoj čërnyj volos, Tvoj gibkij stan i lëgkij šag? Kuda propal tvoj zvonkij golos, Kol'co s mečom i tvoj kušak? Teper' tebe ves' mir nesnosen, protiven chod godov i dnej. Begi starucha v rošču sosen i v zemlju lbom ložis' i tlej.
