die jetzo deiner Ewigkeit sich nahn, befreit
nun bald von dieser Eitelkeit.

Erfüllt ist ihrer Leiden Zahl;
sie weinen heut das letzte Mahl.
Ach! sei in ihres Todes Not
ihr Retter, Gott!
Ein Schlummer sei für sie der Tod.

Vollende, Vater, ihren Lauf,
nimm sie zu deinem Frieden auf;
verwirf sie, wenn ihr Herz nun bricht,
verwirf sie nicht,
Herr, Herr, vor deinem Angesicht.
