Motett på Kyndelsmässodagen
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Our translations:  FIN
Solo:
 Lumen ad revelationem gentium,
 et gloriam plebis tuæ, Israel.

Choro:
 Stå upp, var ljus,
 ty ditt ljus kommer
och Herrens härlighet går upp över dig.
 Se, mörker övertäcker jorden
 och töcken folken,
 men över dig uppgår Herren,
och hans härlighet uppenbaras över dig.

Lyft upp dina ögon och se:
 Alla kommer församlade till dig.
Då, vid den synen skall du stråla av fröjd
och ditt hjärta skall bäva och vidga sig.

Soli:
 Lumen ad revelationem gentium,
 et gloriam plebis tuæ, Israel.

Choro:
 Ära vare Fadern och Sonen
 Och den helige Ande,
Nu och alltid och i evighet.
 Amen.

... valon, joka koittaa pakanakansoille
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the Swedish (Svenska)
Solo:
 ... valon, joka koittaa pakanakansoille
ja kirkkauden, joka loistaa kansallesi Israelille.

Kuoro:
 Nouse, loista kirkkaana,
 sillä sinun valosi saapuu
 ja Herran kirkkaus koittaa yllesi.
 Katso, pimeys peittää maan
 ja hämärä kansat,
mutta Herra nousee yllesi kuin aamunkoi,
 ja hänen kunniansa näyttäytyy sinulle.

 Nosta silmäsi ja katso ympärillesi:
 kaikki kokoontuvat tullakseen luoksesi.
 Tämän nähdessäsi sinä säteilet ilosta,
sydämesi lyö rajusti ja rintasi avartuu.

Solistit:
 Valon, joka koittaa pakanakansoille
ja kirkkauden, joka loistaa kansallesi Israelille.

Kuoro:
 Kunnia olkoon Isälle ja Pojalle
 ja Pyhälle Hengelle
 nyt ja aina ja iankaikkisesti.
 Aamen.
