Nach einer Liebe, die die Seele weitet
Und jede fremde Regung niederstreitet.

Ich harre Tage, Stunden, lange Wochen,
Mein Herz bleibt stumm, die Worte ungesprochen,
In müde Lieder flüchtet sich mein Sehnen,
Und heiße Nächte trinken meine Tränen.
