Sonnentage

Einzig schöne Tage, Sonnentage der Seele,
da sie stille liegt in wunschlosem Traum,
wie der Märchensee hoch oben in stiller
Schwarzwaldberge grüner Einsamkeit!
Keine Welle kräuselt seinen klaren Spiegel;
nur wenn eine weisse Wasserrose in froher Sonnensehnsucht
sich aus seiner Tiefe hebt,
oder wenn ein kleiner Vogel, ein Liedchen zwitschernd,
über ihn streift, mit leichtem Flügel,
oder wenn ein braunes Reh wo aus den Tannen tritt,
an ihm zu trinken.
