Flammt aus niedern Häuserreih'n,
Mählich löst sich's von den feuchten
Wiesen wie ein dünner Flor,
Steigt und fällt und steigt empor,
Bis das holde Frühlingsbild
Ganz in Dämmer eingehüllt.

Un vilatge a la llum del capvespre
i la resplendor rogenca del sol
s’aflama des de fileres de cases baixes,
a poc a poc es desprèn de les humides
prades una mena de prim crespó,
s’enlaira i cau i es torna a enlairar
fins que l’encisadora imatge de la primavera
l’embolcalla del tot en la penombra.
