Störe nicht den leisen Schlummer
Dess, den lind ein Traum umfangen!
Laß ihm seinen süßen Kummer!
Ihm sein schmerzliches Verlangen!
Sorgen und Gefahren drohen,
Aber keine wird ihm schrecken,
Kommst du nicht, den Schlafesfrohen
Durch ein hartes Wort zu wecken.
Still in seinen Traum versunken,
Geht er über Abgrundtiefen,
wie vom Licht des Vollmonds trunken,
Weh' den Lippen, die ihn riefen!

Caminant de nit
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
No destorbeu el son lleuger
de qui un suau somni envolta!
Deixeu-lo en la seva dolça pena!
En el seu dolorós afany!
Inquietuds i perills amenacen
però res l’espantarà,
no vagis vers el joiós dorment
a despertar-lo amb mots severs.
En silenci, immers en el seu somni,
ell travessa abismes profunds,
com inebriat per la llum de la lluna,
ai dels llavis que mai el cridessin!
