Translation

Mynuly lita molodiï
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)  after the Ukrainian (Українська)
Mynuly lita molodiï!
Cholodnymvitrom
Vid nadiï uže povijalo.
Zyma! Ach i vže zyma!
Sydy ž odyn v cholodnij chati,
Nema z kym tycho rozmovljaty
I ni poradytys' nema!
I nikohisin'ko nema!
Sydy ž odyn, poky nadija
Oduryt' durnja os'mije,
Morozom oči okuje,
I dumy hordiï rozvije
Jak tu snižynu po stepu.
Sydy ž odyn sobi u kutku,
Ne ždy vesny s'vjatoï doli,
Vony ne vernut' vže nikoly!
Sadočok tvij pozelenyt',
Tvoju nadiju ožyvyt'.
I dumu vol'nuju na volju,
Ne pryjde vypustyt', sydy!
I ničohisin'ko ne ždy!
