Pareils à des oiseaux
Language: French (Français)
Our translations:  ENG

Like the birds
Language: English  after the French (Français)
Like birds with a wounded wing
That cannot support them in the sky, their homeland,
And who fall bleeding... and broken onto the ground!

Rudely stopped in the soaring of their flight,
Pushed from the heights of dead hope,
My dearest wishes are dying.

It doesn't matter! I have suffered!
It doesn't matter! I have cried!
But I have not cursed...
Don't believe that the love I gave you is dying!

It doesn't matter! I have suffered...
It doesn't matter! I have cried...
But I have not cursed!
I go into exile forever from forbidden happiness.
But the faithfulness of my heart remains.
