Pensive, assise au bord de la fenêtre sombre,
Son œil aux longs regards rayonne seul dans l'ombre.
Sur sa tête s'étend sans fin le grand ciel pur.
Les étoiles des nuits se lèvent dans l'azur,
Et par-dessus son front sérieux qui se penche,
Chacune vient sans bruit se ranger, douce et blanche,
Essaim mystérieux dans son vol arrêté,
Qui d'en haut, palpitant, plane sur sa beauté.
