Ertöne Leyer
Zur Festesfeyer!
Apollo steig hernieder,
Begeistre unsre Lieder!
Lange lebe unser Vater Franz!
Lange währe seiner Tage Chor!
Und im ewig schönen Flor
Blühe seines Lebens Kranz.

Wonnelachend umschwebe die Freude
Seines grünenden Glückes Lauf.
Immer getrennt vom trauernden Leide,
Nehm' ihn Elysiums Schatten auf.
Endlos wieder töne, holde Leyer,
Bringt des Jahres Raum die Zeit zurück,
Sanft und schön an dieser Festesfeyer
Ewig währe Vater Franzens Glück!

Op het naamfeest van mijn vader
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
O lier, wil ruisen,
Doe 't feest nu bruisen!
Apollo, vier de teugels,
Geef onze lied'ren vleugels.
Lang nog leve onze vader Frans!
Vele dagen vol van rozengeur!
En met eeuwig mooie fleur
Bloeie rijk zijn levenskrans.

Stralend lachend omzweve de vreugde
Hem met groenend geluk volop.
Nimmer bezocht door treurnis en lijden,
Neem' hem Elysiums lommer op.
Blijf toch altijd klinken, lier, blijf ruisen;
Brengt de loop van 't jaar de tijd terug,
Zacht en mooi doe 't grootse feest dan bruisen.
Eeuwig dure vader Frans' geluk!
