Wol hundertausend Thränen Hab' ich geweint um sie, Doch Wasser löscht dies Sehnen, Löscht dieses Glühen nie. Wol höhnt mit kalten Blicken Mein Schatz mich unverwandt, Doch kann kein Frost ersticken Des Herzens heißen Brand. Ach, ist dies Feu'r zu zähmen Nicht Frost, nicht Wasser gut, So müßt ihr Erde nehmen; Schwarze Erde dämpft die Glut.
