by Nikolai Petrovich Nikolev (1758 - 1815)

Večerkom rumjanu zorju
Language: Russian (Русский)
Večerkom rumjanu zorju
  šla ja s grusti posmotret',
No prišla vsë k prežnju gorju,
  čto dolžna ja umeret'.
Gore k rečke zamanilo,
  sela ja na berežok,
Serdce pušče, priunylo,
   muten čistyj stal potok.
JA vzdochnuvši tut skazala :
  «Lejsja, rečka, kak sleza !»
A skazavši, pokazala
  polny slez moi glaza.

Strujki svetly zašumeli,
  budto sžaljas' nado mnoj,
No utešit' ne umeli,
  i ostalas' ja s toskoj.
O ! duši moej vesel'e,
  dlja kogo mne žizn' mila,
JA posledne, zpato ožerel'e
 za tebja by otdala.
Kak sokrovišče ja sveta,
 beregu k tebe ljubov' ;
Eju liš' vo mne nagreta
  budto plamenem vsja krov'.
