Vecherkom rumyanu zoryu
Language: Russian (Русский)
Vecherkom rumyanu zoryu
  shla ya s grusti posmotret`,
No prishla vsyo k prezhnyu goryu,
  chto dolzhna ya umeret`.
Gore k rechke zamanilo,
  sela ya na berezhok,
Serdce pushhe, priuny'lo,
   muten chisty'j stal potok.
YA vzdoxnuvshi tut skazala :
  «Lejsya, rechka, kak sleza !»
A skazavshi, pokazala
  polny' slez moi glaza.

Strujki svetly' zashumeli,
  budto szhalyas` nado mnoj,
No uteshit` ne umeli,
  i ostalas` ya s toskoj.
O ! dushi moej vesel`e,
  dlya kogo mne zhizn` mila,
YA posledne, zpato ozherel`e
 za tebya by' otdala.
Kak sokrovishhe ya sveta,
 beregu k tebe lyubov` ;
Eyu lish` vo mne nagreta
  budto plamenem vsya krov`.
