Δἑν ἀπορεῖ

Απάνω ςὄρεο τὸ βουνὸ
Μαννα χαὶ θυγατέρα δυό.

Μἀζωναν τον ἀμάραντον
Καὶ τὸ μελισσοχόρταρον

Μἀχει ποὖ τὸ μαζὠνανε
Καὶ τὸ χεριοδιαλεγανε

Βρισχουνε χενα νεόγαμβρο
Χώρι ἀπὸ τὴν νυφοῦλά τον. --

"Μαννοῦλα μʹ ἂς τὸμ παρωμεν
Τὸν ξενο εις τὸ σπῆτι μας." --

Μώῥ ʹμεῖς ψωμὶ δὲν ἔχομεν
Τὸν ξένον τί τὸν θελομεν;" --

,Μάννα μʹ τὺ μερδιχυῦλί μου
Μὲ σώνʹ ἐμένʹ χαὶ χεινονε." --

"Μῶῤ 'μεἲς ϛρῶμα δὲν ἔχομεν'
