Ich bin eine Harfe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Ich bin eine Harfe
mit goldenen Saiten,
auf einsamem Gipfel
über die Fluren
erhöht.

Du laß die Finger [leise]1
und sanft darüber gleiten,
und Melodien werden
aufraunen
und aufrauschen,
wie nie noch Menschen hörten;
das wird ein heilig Klingen
über den Landen sein...

Ich bin eine Harfe
mit goldenen Saiten,
auf einsamem Gipfel
über die Fluren
erhöht -

und harre Deiner,
oh Priesterin!
daß meine Geheimnisse
aus mir brechen
und meine Tiefen
zu reden beginnen
und, wie ein Mantel,
meine Töne
um dich fallen,
ein Purpurmantel
der Unsterblichkeit.

Si seulement tu voulais
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Je suis une harpe
aux cordes d'or
élevée
sur un sommet solitaire
au-dessus des terres.

Si tu y laisses glisser
doucement et légèrement tes doigts,
des mélodies s'élèveront,
chuchotantes
et frémissantes,
comme aucune personne n'a encore entendues :
ce sera un chant sacré
au-dessus du pays ...

Je suis une harpe
aux cordes d'or
élevée
sur un sommet solitaire
au-dessus des terres

et j'attends de Toi,
oh prêtresse !
Que mes secrets
sortent de moi
que mon être profond
commence à s'exprimer
et que mes chants,
comme un manteau
tombent autour de toi,
pourpre manteau
d'immortalité.
