by Julius Mosen (1803 - 1867)

Der Alpengang
Language: German (Deutsch)
Des Morgens früh zu guter Zeit
Geh' ich zur Sennerin,
Es ist das Herz mir himmelweit,
Zieh' ich zur Alpe hin.

Die Morgensonne scheinet hell,
Das Mägdlein steht davor,
Als wär' dort oben an der Stell'
Das off'ne Himmelsthor.

Ich seh' im rothen Schein sie stehn --
Die Sonne blendet sehr --
Die Wolken und die Lämmer gehn
Zusammen um sie her.

Ein grünes Bändel auf dem Hut,
Am Herzen Röslein roth, --
Ach, wüßt' ich nicht, wie Lieben thut,
Was hätt' es noch für Noth? --
