by Emil Peschkau (1856 - 1930)

Frühlingsgebet
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ein Leuchten und Klingen
Allüberall:
Der Lenz hob die Schwingen
Und flog durch's Thal
Und löste vom Eise
Den jubelnden Bach
Und küßte leise
Die Blüthen wach.

O, hab' Erbarmen
Nicht dort allein,
Woll' auch uns Armen
Erlöser sein!
Nimm von uns milde
Die Sorge, den Schmerz
Und tröste das wilde,
Friedlose Herz.
